In and Around Kirksville
Kirk-Tran, operated by OATS, is the public transit service for Kirksville. Kirk-Tran uses a demand-response system where point to point riders are scheduled in advance by calling the dispatch center. This system operates from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. and travels within a 15 mile radius of downtown Kirksville. In addition to the demand-response system, Kirk-Tran operates a deviated fixed route. Out of Town
Greyhound Bus
Greyhound buses stop daily at the Shop N Go gas station located at 2700 N. Baltimore Street. One bus stops at 12:25 p.m. southbound toward Springfield, Mo., while another stops at 1:30 p.m. northbound toward Ottumwa, Iowa. Tickets are available from Kirksville to any U.S. location and must be purchased in advance either online at Greyhound.com or via phone at 1-800-231-2222. They cannot be purchased at the Shop N Go.
